Thinking Of The Perfect Anniversary Gift...?

How about doing as Adrianne Curry
and Christopher Knight are doing -
calling it bye-bye
on their fifth anniversary?!?
They still love each other deeply
but realize that to "move forward
now will take taking a step back"
- something like that!

Most other couples simply state
that they cannot get along anymore
so they better just move along...!

Granted, model Adrianne
and actor Christopher
are just separating -
they'll get back together
in no time at all!
Let that languishing begin
and the countdown start too!

Other couples, such as
Brooke Muller and
Charlie Sheen,
will not be so lucky...

These guys' forthcoming anniversaries
will be spent clashing over
what joint custody hours
shall be like...!
The trouble with
siring a child
when the couple is not
well-assorted, maybe...?

Sheen has seen better days,
that is for sure...

Brooke Muller...?
Never heard of her,
actually!

Come to think of it,
I am not sure I ever saw
Christopher Knight act
or Adrianne Curry model,
act or whatever else she does,
before either...!!!

And to think that all of this,
and so many more just like them,
are deplorable situations
that came to be due to the
incessant languishing
lonely hearts went through,
regularly and fervently,
as they lamented the fact
that they did not have
that "certain someone"
someone special
next to them,
someone to cuddle with,
someone to love
and be loved by...

All that languishing
pushed, each and every one of them,
to seek out that
SOULMATE...
And they found it.
Or so they thought.

Languishing can lead
one down the wrong path -
for the first lesson to learn
on the journey to bliss
is that there is no such thing
as a soulmate.
But there is such a thing
called LOVE -
now THAT is TRUE.
Bliss can be obtained
through loving
and sharing -
but, ultimately,
each soul is always alone.
As we are born
-and it applies even to twins-
all by ourselves
so can we attain
a blissful state
- by ourselves.
It is not the other
that will change
what we feel
INSIDE -
only we can
change our hearts.

Let the true languishing
