Questions, Questions... To The Nth°

Life is so full of them already (aye, life is full of it alright - but that is another question) - and we, narrow-minded humanoids that we are, keep on creating more and more - most of which having no satisfying answer at all.

Such as, such as... Let's see now...

When will Tom Brady prove his superiority over that Manning brat - merely put in question now (no matter how seriously so) by two games dropped to the brat at the worst of times... 9maybe it is not the best of times to ask the question either: seeing as Brady's nearly life-long personal coach has died, almost right after the second loss to the Manning Brat and His Giants. At least we beat that Christian redneck to make to the Super Bowl, right Tom? Okay - it is simply not the right time to ask ANYTHING...)

Let's try something else...

What the hell is going on with these weather patterns nowadays - eh? Snow in parts of the world that seldom saw it - and in vast quantities. Temperature drops accompanied that outpour there, while where it is traditionally a far more robust winter, things have been rather mild to say the least. What the hell is going on here?!? Are we slowly shifting towards a bonafide major shift, at the end of which we'll find ourselves on a very different planet, almost overnight, with melting polar ice caps, destabilized ecosystems and a flurry of new challenges ahead...?

Thing is, most people do not really want an answer to that particular question - not any time soon...
So let's have another - shall we?

Why do fools fall in love again? Now maybe the answer to that one can be provided, as I suspect that it always been under our nose, all this time, yes: it is because they fail at facing life on their own. And being fools, it is no surprise at all that they do, logically speaking... Since we are ALL a little crazy, we can expect to ALL have out turn of folly and loving, therefore... Some fools actually are not foolish at all - they foresee their failure, sense their flaws even as they are just beginning to show and only to others at that: and so, they marry young. Extremely young. Or just shack up with someone - mostly the latter nowadays, yeah. Marriage, these days, is the folly of the older and wiser - but, again, we are all fools to some degree, so...

Okay, let's quit this while we're ahead, eh?
Next BURNING QUESTION...

Where in the Earth is... Waldo and Carmen Sandiego, again?
They probably fled together to some Communist paradise, eh?

Enough dwelling on that, methinks... Next!

Who is WORRIED ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT, REALLY? We just mentioned the very real phenomenon of Global Warming, which is turning things topsy-turvy all-around the globe indeed: but is anyone worried here, or do we stubbornly remain focused on our little selves and selfish needs, every single day, save for a few hours or days in the year during which we feel, oh, I dunno, remorse?

I think there's another one with an answer right there, hmm?
Let's see if we can extract one more now...

How in blue blazes are we supposed to keep going, as the human race, with all the threats that are awaiting at every corner here...?!? You know, that is actually a funny question indeed: because, just days ago, I was going through some of my old writing projects and there was this old favorite of mine right there, looking at me square in the eye again: it had a plethora of characters, 1001 sub-plots, just so much going on all at once...! At one point I even scripted these very words for one of my pet characters to utter, a tad alarmingly: "too many threats (indeed) coming at us all at once - it is to much to deal with all at once!"

The thing about it is that it is what made the project interesting to begin with: for, with virtually the exact same cast, so many had done trite and boring stuff with before. And they do so now presently too, as it is... Me, I had so much going on at once it was IMPOSSIBLE to be bored here: totally and completely IMPOSSIBLE! Too bad the moronic powers-that-be did not give that project the proverbial "Green Light" at the time - fools that they still are (a fool remains a fool - always, we all know that, all of us being fools and all...)

And so, the funny thing about it all is that, just like in that brilliant (dare I say, luminous?) piece of fiction, it was all that simultaneous action going on that made it exciting, in an hyper-anxious kind of way, so it is for LIFE. If we didn't have all that going on all at once, all these threats to our short-term, middle-term and long-term futures, we wouldn't be as, er, productive and active as we are.

We THRIVE on all that stuff.

Okay enough questions already - let's just listen to some music and be done with this lamenting and languishing already - until the next time we feel the melancholic urge, that is...
