Another easy "unriddle" for you folks now... (Don't say I am not kind to you - sometimes...!!!)

So riddle me this, riddle me that:  who has got the exotic diva market  all cornered for herself now?  NELLY... NAZANIN... OR BÏA?!?




A three-way "combat des divas" - and one clear winner right off the bat! Surely you've been riddled worse than that before - hmm?
NELLY FURTADO, with the big push that she gets from her record label company, and the ease with which she can, thus, reach a mass audience, has to be the clear favorite in this particular game of the comparisons...
NAZANIN gained a lot of notoriety for her kind heart, championing the cause she had no choice but to champion - the death sentence that hung over her namesake in Iran... Still, she has ways to go before catching up to Nelly...
And then there is Bïa!
BÏA is a Brazilian-born artist who, for some unfathomable reason has chosen to relocate to the cold climate (in more ways than one) of Quebec, Canada... Like many other Brazilians who, I suppose, figured that they'd, at least, "stand out" from the pack over there...? She honestly believed that she'd "està numa boa" as they say...! She does stand out - but the indifference remains! She is too eclectic and exotic for the typical "monsieur et madame tout-le-monde" up there...
The result is that she is relegated (like São and others) into a sub-category of artists that only gets some bit of the spotlight either in June or July - the "festival" months! (They do have a festival in Quebec City around February - but that doesn't really count! *LOL*)


So - nice try Bïa.

But Nelly is the one who has got it made!
